7. Your Obligations/Code of Conduct
SACRED SPACE – In this online workshop, and in all other classrooms in which we teach, we like to create an environment of openness and trust. A space in which we can freely explore these wonderful subjects, a space in which we respect each other’s ideas, opinions and experiences, a space in which we give each other a chance to learn and grow. To us, this workshop is not just another online activity, this is a sacred space and a sacred journey we are embarking upon.
In order to achieve an environment of trust, we need to set some ground rules that as a group we agree to stick to. One important component of this Code of Conduct is CONFIDENTIALITY. You are obviously free to talk to others about your experiences, how you are getting along with the workshop, challenges you may face, etc. However, the request is to not discuss another’s comments, or pass on email addresses or any personal or sensitive information about a fellow student, especially private issues that they may have shared with the group. Whilst this is not so likely in the early stages of the course, as we progress to Counsellor training and explore issues more deeply, it may become more relevant.
RESPECT and ACCEPTANCE - are vital components of trust. We are probably preaching to the converted here, however, there will be people on this workshop who appear different from you. Perhaps they are from different cultures, faiths, or ethnic backgrounds. Perhaps they have different learning or physical abilities, or maybe their gender or sexual orientation differs from yours. It is simply asked that you treat each other as you would wish to be treated, i.e. with tolerance and respect throughout this training programme.
Respect is an essential skill for any trainee Practitioner to develop. As our Metaphysical studies progress, we teach techniques for handling issues which ‘press our buttons’ and discover that in life there are more similarities than differences.
If you act in any way which in our opinion is likely to cause any harm or nuisance to any person at the Workshop, you will be required to leave the Workshop and we shall not be liable to refund your Registration Fee or any other payment.
8. [Promotional materials and] materials at the Workshop

You may use such materials for your own personal purpose only and may not share, reproduce, publish or deal with such materials in any way for any commercial use.
We reserve the right to change the published programme (including the publicised speakers) or materials as we think fit.
